2nd Place in the Botany Bay Christmas Tree Competition

The children showed off their creativity and imagination when they designed and made a beautiful Christmas Tree for the Botany Bay Nurseries Christmas Tree Display. The children used some of the techniques that they had learned during their Art Day with Darrell Wakelam, using cardboard, paper and straws to bring the tree to life. They then decorated it and adorned it with the message "Christmas isn't under the tree, it's in your heart".

We enjoyed a trip on the last day of term to visit the trees on display and the children were so proud so see their tree front and centre of the display. We thought all of the entries were fantastic, and it really got us into a festive mood! We all enjoyed a well earned hot chocolate in the cafe.

We are very pleased to announce that we were voted second in the competition by visitors to the nursery. We are so proud of you children.
